Well I have noticed for quite some time how writing these blogs has helped me not only to remember how to do certai math equations but also, to keep me on track. I have been able to get an Idea of where I am at based off of if I know the answer to these questions I am being asked to solve. It actually really did help me to know how to solve math and to keep my focus and memory on track. I haven't lost my train of thought even though there is only three days left of school. I am keeping my head and focusing on what is important.

I struggled with a few things in math. The first one I will mention is Pythagorean theroem. At first I struggled with it like crazy. I didn't know how to solve it or the formula. I started remembering by practicing over and over again. It was hard at first but know I can solve it like its no problem at all. The other one was finding the surface area of a cylinder. I couldn't remember the right formula. I kept getting mixed up with finding the surface area of a triangular prism.
I learned to solve it by thinking and righting the process out step by step. Then I read it over and over again until I could remember it. The last one I will mention is trapezoids. Finding the area to one was a little confusing at first. To remember that I wrote out the formula and the shape and trie Science and math are very similar. They rely on eachother in the sense a child relies on their parents. If science wasn't around math wouldn't work right and if math wasn't around then science wouldn't work. Science is a key thing that requires some math strategies and factors to solve. It could be from calculating the length of an animals biome by using yards. This is a math term used in solving distances in rate and distance.
Math uses science to produce thereom's and theories. But, it is also used to give sets such as the codes we use like GEMS A negative number is a number on the left side of the number line. It is the opposite of a positive. To use these numbers you can find out things like how much money you owe. For example, say you owe someone 50 dollars you would be down 50 dollars so it will be negative 50 dollars. Another example you go to your bank and withdraw 100 dollars. You will be down 100 dollars so it is negative.
People use these numbers all the time for real life problems. You can use them to figure out how much money you owe or how big of a profit you made. It may not seem like it but we use negative numbers all the time. and, surprisingly negative numbers are like negative connotations in literature. If you have to many negative connotations in a sentence then it won't be a great sentence. Same with numbers if you have to many negatives that you owe your credit won't be good. To solve this you would have to add 7 to 15. Then you would get two x ='s 22. You would take two and divide it by 22 which will be 11. So X ='s 11. This is a simple process that can be quite confusing. It will be on the CST so study well fellow students. You will need it.
I like equations like this. They represent a sort of puzzle of knowing what to do first and what goes where. The process just requires clear thinking and observation. It all depends on if you know what to do first second third and last. It's like a chronological order that takes some time if you wish to get the proper answer. In order to turn a decimal into a fraction you must first look at the decimal. If it is .5 it is half of 1 so it is 1/2 as a fraction. Another would be 2.5 it will be 21/2. You can tell all by looking at the decimal this is what makes it easier than solving for the decimal from a fraction. It is a really simple stepped method consisting of only looking at the decimal and knowing how to change it.
To turn a fraction into a decimal you would have to first , turn the fraction into a improper one. Then, you would make it into a mixed number. You would take the turn such as, 2 and 1/4 and turn it into 2.25. Remember this is only to solve a improper fraction. For a non improper fraction such as 2/4 you could see it is 1/2 if simplified. You would then turn it into .5 becuase .5 is half of 1 whole. There is another way. Though it is a longer process it will still work. Such as 2/4 again multiply it by 25 then you get 50/100 which is still 1 half or .5.
I would say that if you go to a resturant that you should use percentages instead of ratios. This is because if you used ratios not only would it be a longer process but it would be very confusing. If you used percentages it would be easier becuase alls you would need to do would be to take all of your purchases prices and turn them into a decimal and add them up and divide them by the total. Ratios you would have to turn them into decimals then ratios then add them up and divide it by the total. With ratios you have a extra step and with percentages you don't. So which would you use?
It is fairly easy and I would like to see who votes for my choise or not. So go to my comments and tell me which one you would do. PI is a very long list consisting of many numbers in a essantial list. Many have broken records of memorizing a whole list of these numbers which are on going to a demension unknown from positive to negative. It just keeps on going. PI day happens to be coming up very soon and many Mr. Dorman being one of them is very happy for this day to come. I think of PI day as a long list of code being celebrated for a reason that only some know. I wonder what does it mean.
The equation unknown is y=mx+b. You would solve this by taking the equation and subtracting b from mx to break it down for graphing. You would get y=mxb then you divide y by mxb to get ymxb. Then you would graph it on a letter graph due to it being all letters. You would then have the numbers charted to find the equation. This would be swort of tricky for it is all letters. You would get the nubers graphed and then find where it lies and then you can find the slope or y intersect.
