The Black Death was very sad and tragic. It killed from 23 to 34 percent of England's population. Most people blamed the people who had the disease. They said that the people were bad and God was punishing them. Maybe he was or maybe he wan't. The real problem of how it started was from traders coming to trade goods with Europe. The disease was farther away in Asia but the ships brought rats that had fleas. The fleas contained the disease in which caused people to get sick and die. They couldn't handle such a disease which brought painful death and caused many to die.
Syptoms were vomitting blood, red splotches all over the body, and fainting for no apparent reason. It was also quite unsanitary in the cities where all of this was happening. The sewage systems were right outside of the cities and built up in nasty filth and muck. The Manors in the rural areas had it worse though. They had to dump the dung of the animals and manure
