The Japanese wre highly influenced by the Chinese. They were begginning a new religion China had brought them. Buddhism. It highly impacted the Japanese. They also learned to share art and literature. It began to grow more and more. The only people who didn't agree was the clans. They thought it foolish to change their own way of life. They all had a huge war over it. In the end the Yamoto clan won and became leaders. They believed that Buddhism was a great religion. One common thing Japan adopted from China was of course, Chopsticks.
The people of Japan used Chinese army skills and some even learned to speak Chinese. They also adopted the Gun which was first invented in China around the early 1400's. The guns were very useful and the emperor easily conqured his enimies. Later though he banned them due to farmers shooting Samurai. I think the most important would be the Gun due to it's power.
